BLACKPINK Jenny was invited to the Cannes Film Festival.
While the secretariat of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival announced its official invitation list in Paris, France on the morning of the 13th (local time), "The Idol," starring Black Pink Jenny, was named in the non-competitive category.
"The Idol" is set in the music industry in Los Angeles (LA) and tells the story of love with the music industry world of popular female pop singers.
Singer Weekend participated in the co-production, directed by Sam Levinson of the popular HBO series Euphoria, and character-related matters are unknown.
In a related development, an official from Jenny's agency YG Entertainment told HeraldPOP, "Jenny has been invited to the Cannes Film Festival," adding, "It is undecided whether she will attend."
Meanwhile, the 73rd Cannes Film Festival will be held in France from May 16 to 27.
