The interview began with the introduction of their fourth mini-album, 'LOVESTRUCK!', which was released on the 10th of this month. Mashiro explained, "It's a story about girls who are starting to feel the emotions of love. We tried to reflect subtle and many emotions." Yeongeun added, "I like romance movies, so I got inspiration for this album through movies."

Prior to the release of their album, Kep1er had garnered attention with their brand concept film, which featured each member speaking in their respective languages of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English. Hooningbaihe said, "We were able to speak in our own language and convey our true voices, so I think the message that Kep1er wanted to convey was delivered better to global fans. It was a new experience."

In the interview with 'whynow', Kep1er also talked about the artists they want to perform with and their favorite dramas. They ended the interview by mentioning their special connection with global fans. Chaehyun reminisced about the 'Hallyu Pop Fest London 2022' held in London last year, saying, "I thought I should come back to meet the passionate Kep1ians who welcomed us."

Kep1er recently released their mini-album 'LOVESTRUCK!' and are actively promoting it. According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold over 105,338 copies in the first week of its release, and it ranked in the top 10 of the iTunes album charts in a total of 11 countries and regions, including Japan, Turkey, Thailand, and Singapore. They are also set to embark on their first arena tour in Japan, titled 'Kep1er JAPAN CONCERT TOUR 2023 <FLY-BY>', in May and June.
