In October, Busan will become a huge city of festivals that will continue throughout the month.

The 2022 Busan International Rock Festival will be held at Samrak Ecological Park in Busan from October 1 to 2.

Top Korean rock bands such as Jannabi, as well as Britain's "Honne," "Bastille," "Oh Wonder," Israel's "Hila Luachi," Taiwan's "Iminus," and Thailand's "Desktop Error" will participate to guide them to the world of rock.

5,000 pre-booking tickets are so popular that they are sold out in two minutes.

During the same period, the Busan Street Art Festival will be held at Busan Citizens' Park, featuring various genres of dance under the theme of "Dancing City, Shake the Street."

The 27th Busan International Film Festival, a feast of Asian films, will then kick off on October 5.

243 films from 71 countries were invited to the festival, which will be held at the Cinema Center for 10 days until Oct. 14, and a total of 354 films, including 111 screening of Community Beef, will be screened.

Shortly after that, on October 15, the group BTS (BTS) will hold a large-scale concert at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium to pray for the hosting of the 2030 Busan World Expo (Expo).

The concert is expected to be a large international event as 3,500 key figures from 170 member countries of the International Exposition Organization (BIE), which selects the venue for the 2030 Expo, will be invited.

From October 27 to 30, the Busan One Asia Festival, a large-scale Korean Wave culture and tourism festival, will be held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium, Busan Citizens' Park, and the northern port of Busan Port.

Top domestic K-pop groups such as Brave Girls, AB6IX, Golden Child, and Le Seraphim were listed in the first lineup.

The festival fever will continue until the 17th Busan Fireworks Festival, which will be held at Gwangalli Beach in Busan on November 5.
