The group ITZY will release its second Japanese single on October 5th and add firepower to the growth of global popularity.


ITZY recently released news and album images of its second single "Blah Blah Blah" on its official SNS channel in Japan.

The new album will contain a total of four tracks, including the title track "Blah Blah Blah", the track "Can't Tie Me Down" (Can't Time Me Down), and two instrumental songs.




The new song "Blah Blah Blah" features a rhythmical rap and addictive melody, and has a subjective message of "Let's not be swayed by other people's words and move forward confidently."

ITZY officially debuted in Japan after releasing its best album "IT'z ITZY" on December 22, 2021. Prior to this, on November 12, 2021, he appeared on TV Asahi Music Station, Japan's representative music broadcast, and recorded as a K-pop artist who appeared on the program at the fastest pace before his official debut.

The first local single album "Voltage" released in April this year confirmed its enthusiasm as it topped the daily sales chart of Tower Records in Japan, K-POP/World reservation chart, and K-POP/World sales chart.

In particular, ITZY was selected as the rookie artist with the highest total sales as of the first half of this year (21.12.27~2022.06.20) announced by Oricon, as well as the number one record of overseas artists in the category is more meaningful than ever.

Recently, ITZY appeared at the "KCON 2022 LA" held at the Staples Center in LA and performed various stages such as the new song "SNEAKERS" (Snickers), the mini-album "Not Shy" (Surf), the hit song "WANNABE" (WANNABE), and the debut song "DALLA".

They gave off solid live skills and sporty energy on the stage ahead of their solo American tour, and drew attention with fluent communication by greeting the audience in English and hosting the game. In addition, members Yeji and Ryujin heated up the atmosphere of the scene by presenting a special stage with pop star Bebe Rexha.

Yeji and Ryujin released a performance video of "Break My Heart Myself" on Mnet Digital Studio M2's official YouTube channel on June 11, and the original singer BB Rexa also drew attention by uploading a post praising the two members on her personal SNS channel.

In response, Vivirexa, Yeji, and Ryujin officially released the song "Break My Heart Myself" (feat. YEJI & RYUJIN of ITZY) on the 29th of last month and responded to high support.

Meanwhile, ITZY successfully held its first world tour "ITZY THE 1ST WORLD TOUR <CHECKMATE>" (ITZY's first world tour <Checkmate>) in Seoul on August 6 and 7 at SK Olympic Handball Stadium in Olympic Park. Starting with a concert in Los Angeles on October 26 (local time), a solo concert will be held in Phoenix on October 29.

ITZY will continue its solo concerts in eight American cities, including Dallas on November 1, Sugarland on the 3rd, Atlanta on the 5th, Chicago on the 7th, Boston on the 10th, and New York on the 13th. Their tickets to the U.S. performance proved their amazing ticket power by selling out the previous session at the same time as the reservation opened.
