Girl group MOMOLAND stepped on the red carpet of the South American pop culture and arts awards ceremony "Premios Juventud 2022 (Premiers Huentoo 2022)."

At 8 a.m. on the 22nd, Momoland attended the "Premios Juventud 2022" South American Pop Culture and Arts Awards held in Puerto Rico.

On this day, MOMOLAND shone as a candidate for the "Premio Juventud for Girl Power" category. This is the first time that a K-pop group has been nominated as a candidate. MOMOLAND's meaningful achievements drew keen attention among local fans and the media.

In particular, Puerto Rican media El Nuevo Día made headlines by paying keen attention to Momoland's attendance at the awards ceremony.

In addition, Momoland was honored to present the award to CNCO, the winner, as a presenter of this year's best fandom award "Premios mejor fandom."

"Premios Juventud" is a large-scale awards ceremony held for pop culture artists such as singers, actors and sports stars in South America, and will be broadcast in six countries, including the United States, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic.

This year, Latin top artists such as Daddy Yankee, Nati Natasha, and Maluma were nominated for the award.

Momoland released a collaboration album "Yummy Yummy Love" with top South American artist Nati Natasha earlier this year and received a lot of love locally.

Immediately after its release, "Yummy Yummy Love" surpassed 30 million views in the music video, proving its global popularity.

Meanwhile, Momoland departed for South America on the 18th and is conducting active local promotional activities such as broadcasting and concerts.
