The group BTS will try again to win the 64th Grammy Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the first time in K-pop history on the 4th.

According to the music industry, the awards ceremony will be held from 9 a.m. on the same day. Prior to this, the preliminary award ceremony will begin at 4 a.m.

BTS has been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the second consecutive year since last year. Last year, the winners of this category were revealed at the pre-award ceremony.

If BTS succeeds in winning this year's award, he will be honored with the "Gramophone" (Grammy Trophy) for the first time in Korean pop music history. It will also write the Grand Slam record, which will dominate all three major U.S. awards ceremonies following the American Music Awards and the Billboard Music Awards.

In the music industry, however, there are cautious opinions that it remains to be seen whether Coldplay, Ceramic Cat SZA, Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco, who were nominated for the same category along with BTS, are so prominent.

BTS also announced his solo performance at the awards ceremony. It is highly likely to sing last year's hit song "Butter," which made him nominated for "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance" this year.

It is the third consecutive year that BTS has performed at the Grammy Awards since 2020.
