The 7th Ulju World Mountain Film Festival (www.umff.kr), the only international mountain film festival in Korea, will showcase abundant movies and events on the 3rd.


On the third day of its opening, 17 films will be screened from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The movie in the "Together" category will be screened at 10 a.m. at the Wump Cinema at the Yeongnam Alps Welcome Center.

The "Together section" is a section enjoyed by all together. Three films, "Mussels and French Fries," "Azzit: Finding Lost Patches," and "Manual Person," meet the audience.





At 3 p.m., the movie "Life Beyond the Mountain of Kim Hong-bin," which features the fierce final journey of the late mountaineer Kim Hong-bin, will be screened.

It is a 55-minute documentary produced in 2021, and tells the story of Captain Kim Hong-bin's challenge, which everyone said was impossible, and his dream achieved with only 1% of the possibility.

At 5 p.m., films "Fire Season" and "Shari" in the "Always Together 1" category will be screened.

"Always Together" is the slogan of this film festival, and in this category, films containing various issues related to nature have been collected.





The last movie of the day is the Swiss documentary "The Dancing Cow on the Roof," which will be screened at 8 p.m.

It depicts Fabiano, the protagonist who lives in the mountains of Ticino, Switzerland.

Along with the movie screening, various events will be held at the festival venue.

Ulju Climbing Day will be held at the complex welcome center climbing hall to provide an opportunity for anyone to easily access climbing, which used to be a club-oriented sport, in various ways.

In addition, a program called "From Earth, For Earth" held at 12 p.m. is also eye-catching.




It is an experience event to make eco-friendly detergents with safe materials.

In addition, there will be a "star view of the daytime sky," a forest walk, and a traditional Swiss instrument class to learn about the movement of the universe and constellations.

The Ulju World Mountain Film Festival will be held for 10 days until the 10th at the Deungeok Alps Campground and Jakcheonjeong Starlight Campground, centering on the Yeongnam Alps Complex Welcome Center in Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan.

148 films from 42 countries dealing with mountains, nature, and the environment will be screened and various hands-on events will be presented.
