The group BTS continued its popularity on the U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the latest chart released by U.S. music media Billboard on the 19th (local time) (April 23), "My Universe," released by BTS on September 24 last year in collaboration with Coldplay, ranked 30th in "Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.) and 42nd in "Billboard Global 200.
The two charts rank streaming and sales in more than 200 countries/regions around the world.
BTS showed off its global popularity by continuing to top the charts for 29 consecutive weeks. In addition, "My Universe" was ranked 20th in "Alternative Digital Song Sales" and 24th in "Billboard Canada AC."
BTS introduced four songs including "My Universe" into "Billboard Global 200" and "Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.). Butter ranked 45th, Dynamite 57th, and Permission to Dance 156th on the Billboard Global 200 chart, Butter 34th, Dynamite 40th, and Permission to Dance 89th on the Billboard Global (excluding the United States).
Meanwhile, BTS's other albums also dominated the top of the "Album" charts. The LOVE YOURSELF ' "Her" album, which came out in September 2017, settled at 55th place in "Top Album Sales" and 3rd place in "World Album," while "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA," released in April 2019, ranked 98th in "Top Album Sales" and 6th in "World Album." The album "BE," released in November 2020, ranked 73rd in "Top Current Album Sales" and 4th in "World Album."
