2NE1, which was disbanded in 2016, showed a surprise performance as a complete group at the famous music festival "Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival" held in California on the 17th (Korea Standard Time).

On this day, 2NE1 sang its hit song "I'm the Best."

It is the first time in seven years that 2NE1 has set up a team stage since the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).

The stage was made on the occasion of leader CL's invitation to the Coachella Festival. At the end of CL's stage, the other three members, including Gong Min-ji, Sandara Park and Park Bom, made a surprise appearance, touching fans.

You can check the members' SNS how confidentially the stage was prepared. Although they usually boast active SNS activities, they did not post any photos or posts ahead of this performance.

2NE1, which debuted in 2009, received great love with songs such as "Fire," "I Don't Care," "Ugly," and "Lollipop." They announced their disbandment in November 2016, and released their last song "Goodbye" in January of the following year.

With the surprise performance as a whole, discussions on the reunion of 2NE1 are expected to accelerate.

The members of 2NE1 have been showing off their strong teamwork, contacting each other steadily even after the disbandment, and especially recently, they ate together in time for Park Bom's new song release.

The problem remains that, like this reunion, someone should take the center stage and continue to lead team activities.

In this regard, a K-pop official said, "As the members have been steadily discussing the entire stage, it has been expected to reunite at any time if the center is established," adding, "Since it started at the Coachella Festival, there is a high possibility that music officials will plan their steady activities."
