BTS Jungkook reassured fans by reporting his current health status while infected with COVID-19.

On the 28th, BTS left the country to carry out its U.S. schedule scheduled for April. However, J-Hope was diagnosed with COVID-19 on the 24th and is under self-quarantine and home treatment in Korea. J-Hope is scheduled to join next month's schedule after completing treatment.

Except for j-hope, BTS seemed to have arrived in the United States unharmed, but faced an unexpected crisis. Jungkook was confirmed to have COVID-19 there. On the 29th, his agency Big Hit Music said, "Jungkook left the country after being tested negative for PCR to prepare for the Grammy Awards performance. After arriving in Las Vegas, I felt a slight discomfort in my throat, so I urgently received a quick PCR and general PCR test."

The agency said, "Jungkook was confirmed to have COVID-19 on the 28th (local time) as rapid PCR and general PCR results were confirmed positive during preemptive self-isolation. "Jungkook is under self-quarantine and treatment in accordance with local quarantine guidelines in the United States." They said, "Jungkook has no special symptoms other than mild sore throat, but he will closely examine his health during quarantine."

BTS is set to attend the 64th Grammy Awards on April 3. It is also preparing offline concerts at Alleged Stadium in Las Vegas from the 8th to the 9th and 15th to the 16th.

In response, Big Hit Music explained, "Jung Kook's future attendance in the U.S. will be determined according to local regulations, and we are closely communicating with the organizers of the event," adding, "We have been thoroughly managing our health management sensitivity ahead of the U.S. schedule."

"We will do our best to help Jungkook recover his health as soon as possible, considering the health and safety of artists as the top priority. We will also faithfully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the quarantine authorities," he said.

Domestic and foreign fans expressed concern over Jungkook's confirmation of COVID-19, and Jungkook relieved fans by leaving a voice message directly on SNS. He announced his condition, saying, "I'm fine," and said in his hometown Busan dialect, "Well, it's nothing!"
